With Mayon Volcano as Albay’s towering landmark, the places of interest will definitely include areas with amazing views of Mayon Volcano. One thing that should not be missed when visiting Albay are the different local industries of crafts passed down through generations. Places of interest will include Legazpi Boulevard, Sumlang Lake, Cagsawa Ruins, Daraga Church, Mayon Golf Course, Casa Simeon, Tabaco City, Tiwi Pottery, Masaraga Volcano camp site with Mayon view points. Tour runs for 8-9 hours inclusive of tour guide, air-conditioned vehicle, entrance fees, and lunch. Standard start time is 0800H; but may start from 0600H to 0900H upon request.
GO LOCAL: Gorgeous pottery crafts are available for purchase at Tiwi. If you have extra time and want to fully experience the Tiwi Pottery Center, you can even try your hand at making your own pottery for PHP500 per group of 1 to 5 persons plus PHP100 per person for the 6th person and up. We suggest visiting Tiwi from Monday to Saturday as there are usually no artisans on Sundays.
